Robinia tractor

The tractor invites children into a familiar world where they decide for themselves what the working day has in store. Perhaps the field needs ploughing. Perhaps it’s time to harvest. Or perhaps the tractor needs a trip to the workshop first before it can carry on.

This themed play set provides children with plenty of specific details to build their role-play around. Inside the tractor, they can sit at the swivelling steering wheel, keep an eye on the instruments and change gear. An activity panel lets children set the pistons in motion and mimic the workings of the engine, whilst another panel allows them to race little cars.

Even the front wheel becomes part of the play. Here, children can turn the wheel and use the attached tool to pretend the tractor needs repairing. At the back, the large wheels also function as a tunnel that children can crawl through. The many features allow children to switch between role play, fine motor skills activities and physical movement.

The tractor fits well into themed playgrounds, but can also stand alone as a play structure in nurseries, parks and other public outdoor spaces. The clear theme makes it easy for children to get involved in the play, whilst the many details allow the story to evolve each time they play.

The structure consists primarily of robinia wood combined with stainless steel and sheet metal. The tractor measures 267 cm in length, 189 cm in width and 191 cm in height.
