Play sculpture - swan

The play sculpture here is architect-designed as a swan in a size of 0.75 metres in height and 1 metre in length, carved in oak.

The swan sculpture works well on its own or alongside other play sculptures in the playground to create a zoo theme.
The child’s imaginative world is stimulated and the play equipment makes the child want to explore the shapes and space, maybe even together with friends.
The swan can be placed in a sandpit where touch will also stimulate the tactile sense, - is the oak warm on a day in summer or perhaps slippery after rain?
