Play sculpture - snail h 0.7m

Our architects have designed this play sculpture as an adorable snail. The play snail will bring joy to playgrounds in nurseries, parks, picnic areas and other public outdoor areas, where many children meet.

It's fun to climb up, but as well as bringing the joy of play and motor challenges, the sculpture also adds other values to the outdoor space. For example, follow the change in seasons by touching the sculpture, which will be warm on a summer’s day and slippery on a damp, rainy day. This develops the tactile sense. And the many round carvings give the child a sense of shape and course. Everyone knows how it feels to touch a nice round stone.

The play equipment is 0.75 metres high, and 0.95 metres long and made of oak sleepers with the feelers made of rope.
