Sandpit - Mini large sand play system with three basins
Sand play is one of the most fun activities for young children in the playground. Here they can immerse themselves, explore the textures of the sand between their hands and practise fine motor skills with tools.
This sand play system is equipped with three large sand tubs at two different heights, around which the entire sand play takes place. Children can play and explore the sand by:
- Hoisting it up and down in a bucket with the sand hoist
- Pushing all the sand from the tall tub to the table in the centre and on to the other tubs
- Letting the sand fall down through the sieves on the two sand tables
- Weigh lumps of sand on the panel with the scale
- Examine the sand in the small lab
As the children push, mould and release the sand between their hands, they stimulate the tactile sense, also known as the sense of touch. This sense helps children understand the world around them through touch, sensing different textures and temperatures. The sand play system is therefore particularly suitable for kindergartens and public playgrounds with toddler areas.
The sand play system is part of our wide range of water and sand play equipment. It is constructed with stainless steel legs and tables in HPL. The large sand trays are made of UV-resistant polyester resin. The sand play system measures 361 cm in length, 278 cm in width and has a maximum height of 214 cm.
