Obstacle course - wall bar
The wall bar is a classic training and rehabilitation equipment and is very useful for strength training with your own body weight. Typically used to train the back muscles. Gymnasts also use wall bars to train their muscle groups.
Our architects have designed this classic stainless steel wall bar on robinia posts, with a height of 3 metres.
The wall bar works well as a stand-alone element in a school playground or park, or as a challenging addition to an obstacle course, alongside other elements from Elverdal's Organic range.
Inspiration for training on the wall bar:
Jumping down from a wall bar strengthens the legs and general fitness.
Crawling backwards up over the bar will strengthen the abs, shoulders, back and arms.
Performing pendulum swings with your legs from side to side strengthens the abs.
Hanging with your abs facing the bar and doing arm lifts really strengthens the arms.
Hanging with your abs facing the wall bar and swinging your legs outwards into the surrounding space strengthens the back.
Hanging with your back against the wall bar and lifting your legs up against your chest strengthens your abdominal muscles.
The wall bar is part of Elverdal's 2x2system, which you can read more about here.
