Obstacle course - platform round

Simple, multifunctional balance and play platform for public Obstacle course playgrounds. The resting island has been specifically designed by our architects for young children in day-care institution playgrounds. We want to challenge toddlers to improve their balancing skills. This is important as a good balancing skills improve the child’s control of their body, allowing them to focus on other things, such as exploring their surroundings or focusing at a desk.

The play equipment can easily be placed in a sandpit, and is shown here as a resting island/platform and sandpit table for children.

Made from debarked and splinter-free robinia wood, with the platform in larch wood.

Height is 1.5 metres and diameter is 0.7 metres.
