Obstacle course - package 31
A smaller obstacle course package designed by our architects for the very youngest children in the playground in e.g. a nursery or a park.
The course consists of three brightly coloured and FSC-approved robinia posts - one in Pastel blue, one in Signal black and one in Sun yellow. The play equipment materials are ideal for the public playground, e.g. in a nursery, which may want a natural playground where the play equipment can 'blend in naturally' with the surrounding environment.
All our play equipment is EN 1176-approved.
In addition to the robinia posts, the package includes three jumping platforms, each with a diameter of 1 metre, and 15 jumping platforms on which the young child can crawl, climb and balance their way around while trying to concentrate on not falling off.
No safety surface is required for this obstacle course package.
Focus on motor play
Playing on the obstacle course brings children together around play, and playing with friends is just more fun.
The architect also prioritises the opportunity for young children to train their senses and basic motor skills. Playing on the play equipment trains the child's cerebellum, strengthening the coordination of muscle use, so that the child becomes better at keeping their balance, but also more skilled at handling everyday situations, such as holding cutlery. Cross-coordination skills and spatial intelligence are improved as the child has to relate their own location to the location of their friends.
