Obstacle course - package 30
Challenging architect-designed obstacle course that can also be used as a jungle course.
The architect has designed the course with 11 FSC-approved robinia posts - four in pastel blue, four in a natural colour and three in reseda green. The colours create a beautiful 'play of colours' in the playground of a housing association, school playground or similar outdoor space.
Would be particularly well suited to a nature playground, where the play equipment will 'blend in' with the surrounding environment and not look out of place.
All products are of course EN 1176- approved.
Between the brightly coloured wooden posts are vertical climbing nets, monkey bars, rolling beams, a somersault beam and other challenging equipment, on which children from about 5 years and up can climb, run, crawl, swing and balance their way around while strengthening their muscles, especially the arm muscles.
The play equipment is ideal for playing tag or 'the ground is hot lava'.
The obstacle course’s important place in the playground
An obstacle course provides space for multiple children to get involved in the game and have fun in each other's company.
When we design play equipment and put together our packages, we also make it a priority to give children the opportunity to practice their physical skills in order to become motor confident. It trains the child's cerebellum and improves muscle strength coordination so that the child doesn’t fall, just as handling everyday situations becomes safer e.g. brushing their teeth. Spatial intelligence and cross-coordination skills also improve, all of which lead to well-being and the energy and confidence to focus on other things.
