Obstacle course - package 25
Architect-designed obstacle and jungle course for the public playground, e.g. in a park or a school with a natural playground where all the playground equipment 'blends in' with the surrounding environment.
The obstacle course is EN 1176-approved for public use.
The course is built from a total of 10 FSC-approved robinia posts - one in Moss green, three in Reseda green and eight in a neutral wood colour.
Between each of the posts are vines, lianas, horizontal and vertical climbing nets, rolling beams, monkey bars and balancing poles, allowing children to crawl, climb, run, swing, do strength training and balance their way around on the play equipment in a game of tag or 'the ground is hot lava'.
The equipment is designed for children aged 5 and up.
A big hit - and so much more
The size of the equipment allows several children to play together, making play even more fun. We also make it a priority to ensure that our play equipment can be used for learning about things such as gravity.
When a child has to balance their way forward, they train their cerebellum, which coordinates and aligns muscle strength both when playing and when using muscles in other situations, e.g. holding a glass. Cross-coordination skills improve and good motor skills provide well-being and energy to concentrate on other things besides physical functions.
And the game of tag helps to improve children's spatial intelligence, as they have to relate to where the 'catcher' is and where they themselves have to move to.
