Obstacle course - package 20
This square obstacle course was designed by our architects for the public playground, and is therefore suitable for school playgrounds, parks, housing associations, etc.
The shape is formed by six robinia posts - 2 unpainted, 2 in Pastel blue and 2 in Sun yellow. In between each of the posts, the architect has installed various play equipment, all of which provide children from around the age of 5 and up fun play opportunities.
The play equipment includes e.g. rope battle, towline, balance bridge and vertical balance ropes, while the square shape allows children to run, crawl, climb and balance their way around without touching the ground. Perfect for e.g. games of ‘the ground is hot lava’.
Playing on this motor-challenging play equipment develops cross-coordination skills. Are they able to keep their balance?
Play equipment should be fun, but we place equal importance on training and developing the child's basic motor skills through play. Training motor skills is important for good well-being and gives the confidence needed to e.g. join in with other groups of children.
We describe the good play equipment’s play values here.
The obstacle course is built from FSC wood and is EN 1176-approved.
