Carousel - swing carousel with tilting function
This carousel has top play value and moves in multiple directions simultaneously. It is designed as a T-shaped swing carousel that both rotates and tilts. There is room for 2 children at a time, making it perfect for social and active play in smaller groups. The carousel is therefore ideal for playgrounds in schoolyards, city parks or public outdoor spaces.
The carousel has a diameter of 311 cm and a maximum height of 355 cm. It is constructed in galvanised steel and equipped with steel-reinforced rubber seats that hang down from the arms on rubber-coated stainless steel chains.
Children set the carousel in motion by running in circles, pulling the seat with them and then jumping up or getting a push from a friend or adult. It's therefore very much about co-operation and coordinating their movements. As the carousel rotates, children can simultaneously tilt up and down. The combined rhythmic and swinging movement puts the vestibular sense to the test and challenges the children's balance, spatial awareness and body control.
