Carousel - for 1 wheelchair green Ø174 cm

This carousel is designed with inclusion in mind. Here, children with and without disabilities can play together at eye level, on equal terms and in the same game. The carousel creates a framework for community, movement and social closeness and makes it easy for all children to be an active part of the playground universe.

The carousel has a diameter of 174 cm and a height of 60 cm. It has an entrance on one side and is easily accessible to everyone. The carousel is designed with a fixed wheelchair space in the centre between two benches with a railing on each side. On the benches, there is room for other children and a support person to accompany the child in a wheelchair during the carousel ride.

When the carousel rotates, the labyrinth sense is stimulated. This strengthens the child's motor development, body awareness and orientation.
