The playground is designed with equipment that invites both play and relaxation, creating a framework for an active everyday environment. The many seating and activity surfaces make it possible to integrate the area into teaching, allowing tasks and shared activities to take place outdoors in the open air.

Play is kept close to the ground and integrated into the landscape, where changes in level, varied surfaces and colours contribute to an urban, identity-creating expression that supports the profile and values of Roskilde Private Realskole.

The playground includes, among other features, a large climbing and seating structure, a ball court, four trampolines, a wide slide and rocking balance elements. In addition, there are swinging and rotating surfaces, various balance ropes and platforms, as well as tactile elements that encourage climbing, balancing and sensory play. In contrast to the more active areas, a calm relaxation zone with hammocks has been established, inviting rest and social interaction.
