Knuthenborg Safaripark - Monkey Forest

Right next to the popular Monkey Forest, where visitors can experience monkeys up close, we have created a new and inviting playground.

The playground is designed for children aged 2 to 10 and is filled with play opportunities inspired by the movements of monkeys. Here, children can climb, balance, and engage in imaginative roleplay that stimulates both body and creativity.

The area also offers great spots to take a break. You can sit sheltered from the sun or rain, enjoy your packed lunch, and relax while the children play. It’s a gathering place where young and old alike can enjoy quality time together in a safe environment.

The design of the playground is inspired by the surroundings, with materials and shapes drawn from the nearby nature – especially bamboo and grass. This makes the playground blend beautifully into the Monkey Forest landscape.
