Hisingsparken - Custom Climbing Structure

For the beautiful green park Hisingsparken in Göteborg we made a custom multifunctional climbing structure, which offers many play options for the children.

Design inspiration

The inspiration for this large climbing structure is the wrapped hay bales you see on the fields. The polycarbonate white sheets illustrate the plastic, farmers wrap the hay with, and the yellow ropes illustrate the hay.

The design of the climbing structure provide many play values. In the middle of the cylinder the children can climb up on the colourful diagonally strings, or they can climb to the top from outside by the slanting net. From the top you can experience a fun ride down the slide, Climbing from a young age provides physical and mental benefits for children.

In the evening the climbing structure can light up like a giant lantern.
