The central playground in Hallstahammar clearly stands out from the municipality’s other playgrounds due to its play equipment, which is made from solid wood, giving the area a more natural and harmonious appearance.

The playground features a climbing structure designed for children aged 5 to 12, with sand used as impact-absorbing ground cover.

Additionally, there is a beautifully designed water and sand play area, especially suitable for younger children. Water and sand play offers children a unique opportunity to explore, experiment, and develop both their creativity and motor skills.

The project makes use of robinia wood and stainless steel – materials that ensure long durability and require minimal maintenance, making them ideal for outdoor playgrounds.
