Förskøningen, Veberöd

In Försköningen in Veberöd, we have helped create a new and inviting play and recreational area that strengthens play, community, and local identity. The project demonstrates how thoughtful design and durable quality materials can transform an existing urban space into a vibrant meeting place for all generations.

The new playground features modern and robust play equipment that supports both physical development and social interaction:

- Single-point suspended nest swing that challenges and develops fundamental motor skills – especially the vestibular sense.

- Play tower: Provides exciting challenges while stimulating motor skills and imaginative role play.

- Hang-out mats: A relaxing resting element where children can socialise and unwind between activities.

- Balance stumps: Enhance balance and coordination through natural, playful movement.

Försköningen is much more than a traditional playground – it is designed as a multifunctional park that can be enjoyed year-round:

- Decorative lighting adds safety and atmosphere after dark. New seating areas and planting create a pleasant and welcoming environment.

- Upgraded barbecue and gathering areas make it easy to meet for communal meals and activities.

- A permanent stage enables events, cultural experiences, and local activities.

With these improvements, the municipality has gained a space that embraces the entire community – a place where people meet, engage, and stay active together.
