Monrads gate

The playground and the calm streetscape in Monrads gate have been designed as an attractive area for relaxation and activity, featuring benches, tables, and generous spaces for play and movement. The playground includes several playhouses as well as a large area dedicated to balance and climbing activities.

In collaboration with the Disability Association, wheelchair-accessible solutions have been established, including wooden decking, ramps, and inclusive play equipment. The area has been planted with perennials, shrubs, trees, and flowers. Approximately 200 m² of new green space has been created, along with an additional 30 m² designed to support pollinating insects.

Monrads gate is located between the Botanical Garden and Tøyenparken.
