Lervigskvartalet

Lervigskvartalet is a newly consolidated urban space in Stavanger, where the school, kindergarten, sports facilities and local functions are integrated into a harmonious whole. The outdoor areas are conceived as an active landscape that connects buildings and terrain, creating inspiring settings for play, recreation and learning. The colourful playgrounds form a key design feature, giving the neighbourhood a clear identity and a warm, playful character.

The natural elevation difference of up to 11 metres lends the outdoor spaces a distinctive sense of dynamism. Transitions between terrain, building and rooftop areas have been carefully shaped to appear as coherent spatial sequences. The result is a vibrant and functional outdoor environment that supports both everyday activities and the community life of the district.
