Swing set - hexagonal robinia wood and steel 2 classic seats and 2 disabled seats h 2.4m
This swing set is architect-designed for the public outdoor space, e.g. day-care institutions where children with different needs and physical ability play together. The swing set comes with two disabled swings and two hanger swings.
The model here is 2.4 metres high and built in steel and robinia, where we have painted the posts in pastel blue. The choice of material provides a safe and - according to the Playground standard - approved construction for all public playgrounds.
When children swing, they face each other, which makes the swing ride extra fun. The children can make eye contact, and may see if their feet can touch.
This is actually not possible - for safety reasons - but playful children will instinctively try to make it happen.
It’s fun to swing together, and as everyone is on a single swing, each child can decide their own pace.
It is a well-known fact that a swing ride develops a child's basic motor skills. This is an important development to support as good motor skills give the child extra energy to explore the world around them and allows them to focus more on social skills. It’s important to give children these skills as early on in life as possible, as it gives them the best possible foundation to develop from.
Our swing models are available in several sizes and shapes. See all our swings here if you this wasn’t the right model for you.
