Swing - bird’s nest robinia 2 seats Ø 1.2m

The bird's nest swing is an exciting, fun and alternative swing that children love.
The child has the option to sit or stand on the swing, and to simply lie down and look up at the sky or a green tree whilst gently rocking back and forth. Or maybe they prefer a lively ride with friends? Swinging together with friends stimulates a sense of community, which is an intoxicating feeling.
You also learn to wait your turn and cooperate. Two to three children can easily swing together at the same time.
If you’re a nursery school teacher, you can bring a very young child with you on the swing, which both has a calming effect and develops the child's basic motor skills.

Developing basic motor skills is important from an early age.
The movements of the swing set in motion the main sense of balance and the child’s proprioception, and slowly they start to improve. Swinging also develops the vestibular sense. When the child's coordination and balancing skills are trained, the child's ability to concentrate improves. How is this related? When the child gains more control of their basic motor skills, they don’t have to spend as much energy and focus on them anymore. In turn, they can use this energy on exploring the world around them or on learning new things.

Swinging teaches the child to set boundaries and the child also gets to practice the technique behind swinging, which strengthens arm, leg, abdominal and back muscles and improves agility. Bone density is also increased and spatial intelligence is improved.
