Swinging strengthens the sense of kinesthesia/proprioception. When a child swings, a fluid is set in motion inside their ears. This affects their main sense of balance, and the brain connects information from the ear with information from muscles, joints, etc. and then sends a message to their proprioception about what is going to happen. Muscles, joints and tendons are set in motion. If these functions are repeated over and over again, the child’s balance ability and motor skills improve.
Once the child no longer has to focus so much on their balance, they have more energy to focus on other things. So in short, good balance means better ability to learn. Swings are ideal for training the sense of balance, while the child has the opportunity to set their own limits for what they find fun.

This model has two baby swings and is 2.1 metres high.
The swing is designed by our architects and is suspended from solid robinia wood posts with steel lintels in a simple design. Thanks to the light design, this swing combines easily with other play equipment in the public playground, such as in day-care centres, shopping malls and similar.
