Swing - A-frame steel h 2.1m
Two parallel standard swings on steel legs, allowing the child to pace themselves, but without compromising social interaction with their side partner. The swings are mounted on a steel lintel, providing a modern contrast between steel and the wood’s natural appearance.
This model is 2.1 metres tall.
A swing set is a key item of play equipment in the playground, and our architects have designed this classic swing for the public outdoor space. The play equipment is suitable for rest areas, school playgrounds, shopping centres and other public outdoor spaces.
Motor skills and learning ability go together!
Swinging on a swing strengthens gross motor skills and contributes to a better balance and sense of space, which is important to train from an early age.
A ride on a swing makes your head move up and down, and each new position affects a fluid inside the ear. The main sense of balance notices these changes. The brain receives these signals and connects them to the many pieces of information from joints, tendons and muscles. This results in signals to the proprioception (sense of position), which signals to the muscles to relax or tense.
A ride on a swing is therefore an excellent exercise to do to improve balance ability. A child learns to control their body parts, allowing them to focus less on their motor skills and more on other things like learning.
Not the right swing for you? This model is also available in a height of 2.4 metres and with other sizes and seats etc.
