Play sculpture - Rubber ball EPDM ø 0.7m

Beautiful, sculptural toy ball in recycled rubber.

Use it to crawl, jump and balance on and to play hide and seek.
The play sculpture is a suitable play equipment for all children in public spaces such as parks, where the balls can also serves as elegant space dividers.
In schools, the rubber ball can be used in maths lessons, such as when calculating volumes.

We stock the rubber ball in many colours, so the ball can be included as a design element, for example with a municipality's logo colours.

The sculpture is also available in several different shapes and sizes, from Ø 345 mm up to Ø 695 mm. This model is spherical in EPDM rubber with a diameter of 695 mm.

Facts about EPDM (Ethylene-propylene-diene rubber)

Withstands air temperatures of -50 °C to +130 °C
Hardness 20 Shore A – 95 Shore A
Very good material characteristic and resistance and the rubber resists weather, ozone and shows no aging
Low compression even at high temperatures
Good resistance to fluids such as hot water, acids and alkaline and hydraulic fluids based on glycol
Chemical resistance equivalent to that of natural rubber

Areas of application
EPDM is of the same quality rubber type as used in windows, doors, pipes to washing machines, dishwashers, cable insulation and sheaths, use in drinking water as well as in sealing and control applications.
