Children at nursery-school age are just starting to get to know their bodies. They are developing their motor skills and this puts certain demands on how their playgrounds should be designed. The playground needs to contain equipment and areas which will strengthen motor skills while also serving as a place where children can develop different social skills through communal play together with other children.
